DRINK DRIVING OFFENCES

An offence of drink driving, PCA (prescribed concentration of alcohol) or DUI (driving under the influence of alcohol), is a common offence which is taken very seriously by the Court. For more information please contact our office on 9290 1177.

Under Section 9 of the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Act 1999, it is an offence for a person with a prescribed concentration of alcohol to drive, attempt to drive, or supervise a learner driver.

There are categories for PCA offences which are dependent upon whether it is a first offence, whether you have conditions on your licence (such as a provisional driver) and subject to the concentration of alcohol in your blood.
