The role
This position will have a family provision / equity bias and provide you with an opportunity to manage your own litigation files working closely with Principal solicitors.
Your day-to-day tasks will include the following:
- Drafting affidavits and other court documents
- Preparation of legal documents
- Brief Counsel
- Liaise with clients and third-party stakeholders
- Attend Court, prepare for interlocutory and final hearings
- Case analysis
- Research
About you
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- A minimum of 2 years post admission experience
- General experience in litigation and succession law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Time management and organisational skills
- Full unrestricted Australian working rights
- Experience with LEAP cloud is desirable
